Our Company's Remarkable Journey:
Since our inception on July 11th, 1989, The Sew-Ink Factory has evolved into a story of heritage, vision, and adaptability deeply rooted in the textile industry. Before we even began our journey in the USA, our family had a longstanding presence in the textile industry in Mexico, cultivating a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication that continues to define our values.
In 1982, Carlos Kuri ventured to the USA to lead our family's distribution business. Recognizing the need to offer American clients the choice of products made in Mexico or the USA, he embarked on the journey of establishing a manufacturing line in the United States. With the guidance of a seasoned production engineer from Mexico, our company was born, initially specializing in crafting t-shirts.
The spark of diversification came from a client's request for sports uniforms, a pivotal moment that ignited our expansion into athletic wear. This endeavor eventually led to the acquisition of the rights to produce sports uniforms, setting us on a path of continuous growth and innovation.
For many years, Rita Kuri, alongside her husband Carlos, led our operations under the company name 'ARTEXNEU', establishing a road of trust and exemplary service. Just recently, Marcel Chamorro and his wife, Maria Eugenia Zavala, became partners with Carlos and Rita to take the company to the next level and ensure the legacy of love and attention to detail in this new era for many years to come. Today, The Sew-Ink Factory stands as a reinvented company, fully equipped to meet the dynamic demands of an ever-evolving industry, all while embracing the cherished values that have shaped our journey.
